According to a child’s needs, our professional and highly experienced doctors will decide a customized treatment plan that will allow kids and their parents as well to participate during the treatment process. It’s a protocol of the clinic to do an initial consultation for the assessment of the child in order for us to deliver quality healthcare services. Educating parents on how to prepare and support their child during the treatment is a must. Working with kids can be very challenging, but our team works hand in hand and ensures that our patients receive high quality professional care. Kids usually hate needles but in our clinic we are using very fine needles that are pain free and we have skilled TCM practitioner who loves kids and explains to them and their parents how acupuncture works before performing it. We don’t want to force them to undergo this treatment that’s why we have to build a rapport with them first to make them at ease then we wait until they are ready. Duration of treatment depends on the severity of the illness.
